Baby Registry Must Haves

One of the fun, and sometimes stressful things that you get to do when you are pregnant with your first baby is to put together a baby registry.  It’s fun to pick out all these new baby products you may need but being a first time mom you may have no idea what the baby registry must-haves are!

When Should I Make My Baby Registry?

Generally when you are pregnant, you will have a baby shower.  It is good to do your baby registry a couple months before the baby shower or certainly before your baby comes.

This gives you plenty of time to get your list together, including those big-ticket items, and ready for any guests who may want to buy you something.  It also gives you time to add to the list if you think of more things you’ll need! It is a good idea to revisit the list as you think of more things you may need.

This is likely a big question since you’ve never been a mom before!  I know for me, I asked the advice of friends who were already moms. I wanted to find out those must-have baby items that would make life with a new baby easier.

Another thing to keep in mind is to add anything and everything to your list!  You never know what someone may get you so it’s better to put everything out there.

Check out this list of 30+ ideas for your baby registry that are must haves for new moms!

  3. This is a great list! We used all of these products and have that exact owl sound machine. Now that Jazzy is older she likes to look up at the stars when I lay her down for bed, it distracts her enough that I’m able to leave the room without her crying.
