Christmas is such a fun holiday season! It is my absolute favorite time of year. I am always looking for new, fun ways to make keep the Christmas season going. A great way to do that is to find as many Christmas games as you can! There are so many great options – you could probably do one fun activity for the entire month of December! This Christmas themed word scramble is one of my kids favorites!

If you have never done a holiday word scramble before, the good news is they are pretty straightforward. It is a fun game where you unscramble words basically. You get a set of letters that are jumbled up. Then you have a word bank where all the potential words are. This helps make it a little easier to unscramble the words on the word list.

Next, you do your best to unscramble as many scrambled words as possible! When you figure out the right word, write it below the scrambled word. The best part is it’s great to play as an entire family.

The main difference with this word scramble is that all the words are Christmas words. Word puzzles are great for kids to help with their problem solving skills and a themed one is always a big hit. This Christmas word puzzle is great for a holiday party at school or to keep kids busy at a family Christmas party.

The Christmas-themed words add a little bit of holiday fun. If would like to make it into a fun challenge, you can add in a time limit and see who gets the most correct answers in the time allotted. And if you have some trouble yourself, there is an answer sheet included just in case!
