When it comes to Memorial Day or 4th of July, I usually think of fireworks and barbeques with friends and family. The kids are usually running around and look forward to sparklers when it gets dark, but what are some ways to keep the kids busy during the day. You can print out a bunch of copies these coloring pages for free, then add some art supplies! Some great things to include would be crayons, markers, patriotic stickers, and maybe even some glitter glue (not nearly as messy as glue and glitter separately!).
Then if you really wanted to add to the kids fun, you could set up a string with clothespins and hang up their artwork as part of the decorations for the party!
